FOREWORD
This is the fifth volume in the series of Annual Editions of Science of Mind
Magazine that brings together the miscellaneous writings of Ernest
Holmes.
Throughout his long speaking and writing career the outstanding
religious-philosopher continually emphasized the creative power that
resides in every man's thought.
One of his main endeavors was to teach others to recognize this power
and to properly direct it and use it. That such could be done has been
amply demonstrated in the lives of those who have come to believe what
he taught and have applied it.
He advanced a practical philosophy, one that works in everyday living.
Each may take it and use it in his own way. Regardless of faith, race, or
education, the ideas advanced can enable one to achieve a fuller, richer
experience in living.
The material in this volume has been carefully selected from previous
issues of the magazine as bearing on one specific concept - the power of
an idea. What it is, how it works, and how one can use it.
