What This Book Is About
Just what is man? What is the source of his existence? What is the nature of that thing called thought? These three great enigmas have always faced man.
Man's whole life is colored and controlled by the way he has been able to answer these questions for himself. For the most part the answers have been fraught with superstition and fear. Yet there are answers which seem logical and are intellectually and emotionally satisfying. Answers which are capable of being verified. Answers which are acceptable to the open mind in the fields of science and religion.
Each individual must answer his questions about life in a manner that is wholly his own. He may read, he may listen to others, but in the final analysis what he accepts as true is his own decision.
